With 334,160 votes, the centre-left candidate Alessandra Todde is the new governor of Sardinia. The proclamation took place a few minutes before half past noon.
The Central Electoral Office of the Court of Appeal of Cagliari, presided over by Judge Gemma Cucca, has concluded the operations of verifying and counting the reports received from the eight district commissions of the island, transmitting the final report of approximately 800 pages to the Region.
The exponent of Campo Largo got 3061 votes more than the mayor of Cagliari, Paolo Truzzu, candidate for the centre-right, who stopped at 331,099 votes. The commission led by president Cucca, supported by the judge councilors Maria Antonella Secchi and Giovanni Lavena, also closed the counts and proclaimed the 60 elected regional councilors .
The mayor of Cagliari was proclaimed regional councilor.
