A parade of traditional costumes and knights with accordion music livened up the mornings in Naples, Rome and Milan . The initiative called "Sardegna in viaggio" then landed in New York thanks to a video broadcast on a big screen . Objective achieved for the initiative organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Sassari in collaboration with Visit Italy.

A single brand for northern Sardinia as a tourist destination , to strengthen the image, reputation and presence of the offer on the national and international market . As the president of the Chamber of Commerce Stefano Visconti explained this morning, "starting from the Salude&Trigu network which has aimed since 2019 to strengthen the local tourist offer through support for events and demonstrations capable of increasing its appeal, we thought of physically bringing northern Sardinia beyond the Tyrrhenian Sea, and then closing the journey in the nuraghe of Santu Antine, in Torralba".

To demonstrate the value of Salude & Trigu, the container of cultural and traditional events of Northern Sardinia, the numbers speak for themselves. Since 2019, over 50 million contacts in communication campaigns around the world. This year, 87 events were supported on four themes: typical local folk production and traditional rites, visual and figurative arts, music and literature, and other types of events. In the period between March and December, 200 days of events were covered, involving 62 municipalities. An exciting itinerary in which the Chamber of Commerce supported the network with approximately 1 million euros.

The presentation of the results of "Sardegna in viaggio" was also attended by the vice-president Maria Amelia Lai, the members of the council Benedetto Fois, Paolo Murenu and the secretary general Pietro Esposito.
