After the great success of "Glicine", Noemi in version 2.0 returns to the Sanremo Festival for the second consecutive year (seventh time overall) with "Ti amo non lo lo dire", an uptempo (Columbia Records / Sony Music) written by Dario Faini, Alessandro Mahmoud, Alessandro La Cava.

"With 'Glicine' - he explains at the press conference from Sanremo - I was already telling a part of me, that of change. This time, however, I am facing another piece of what I am experiencing. emotions and the people who are close to you. I have never done so much awareness work on myself as in recent years ".

For the 40-year-old Roman, born Veronica Scopelliti, “life is a continuous contrast. On the one hand, the strength of the desire to overcome our fears to make our dreams come true. On the other hand, the frailties that we discover and face in the path of change, the suffering that can derive from words spoken or unspoken. Not knowing how to say I love you is a metaphor for explaining this fragility. Because to say I love you it takes immense courage ".

The production is by Dorado Inc. by Dario Faini: “I like it very much, it is a crescendo of intensity and emotion that explodes in the chorus. It is certainly a complex piece to sing, with a very modern phrasing. There are so many words but I don't want to miss a single one. With each listening I hope that the public will always discover new ones to appreciate and understand ".

THE COVER - For the evening of the covers Noemi chose "(You make me feel like) a natural woman", written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin for Aretha Franklin.

"I chose it because the world of blues and soul tells a lot about me - he explained - it represents everything that music has taught me. For Aretha Franklin, being a diva meant being a voice for her community, it meant being able to spread an important message. My message, and I hope to live up to it, is the hope that everyone will be able to feel at least once in the life of a 'natural woman' ".

"SUPPORT FOR MAHMOOD" - The fact that even Mahmood, the author of his piece, is in Sanremo, does not live it at all as a competition, far from it: "I cheer for him and Blanco. I must say that the song is not the I listened, because I am a very discreet and respectful person, but knowing Alessandro I am sure it will be fantastic. And then I am very curious to hear Elisa's piece ".

Among the Festivals he remembers with more pleasure is the one in 2012: “The winner Emma was on the podium, then Arisa and I in third place. I must say it was nice to see an all-female podium. And I sincerely hope it will happen again this year! ”.
