Italy gets up and wins the final for third place in the Nations League against the Netherlands .
In Enschede, the stadium of the Dutch team Twente, Roberto Mancini's men won 3-2 over the Orange team led by Ronald Koeman.
Great start for the Italian national team, who are already two goals ahead after 20 minutes.
Federico Dimarco signs the advantage in the 6th minute, a beautiful goal : cross from Frattesi, Retegui misses the bicycle kick and Raspadori backheels for the Inter full-back, who strikes Dutch goalkeeper Bijlow with a great left foot. In the 20th minute Frattesi doubled his lead : Gnonto's shot from the edge was deflected, the midfielder tow in the chest and scored from two steps away.
The Oranges react in the second half: after a save by Donnarumma and a shot blocked by Dimarco , the Netherlands shortens in the 68th minute. Bergwin scores , who collects a cross from the left, seats Dimarco and beats Donnarumma.
The hosts believe it but newcomer Federico Chiesa starts on the counterattack in the 73rd minute, swallows Van Dijk and in the fall manages to cross the left foot to make it 3-1 in the bottom corner. Koeman's team didn't give up, and after a goal disallowed for offside by Weghorst, they made it 2-3 in the 89th minute with Roma player Wijnaldum . In the 9 minutes of added time, only one goal was scored by Pellegrini, who slipped a stone's throw from goal following an assist from Barella. Thus ends, Italy is on the lowest step of the podium of this Nations League.
