Years ago, on the Oristano coast, Franco Baresi, along with his brother Giuseppe, decided to purchase some shares in the company that owns the Europa campsite in the Is Arenas pine forest, in the municipality of Narbolia.

A brief interlude over 30 years ago. Many remember that moment. Some play tennis with the Captain inside the campsite.

"He also showed talent with a racket. But the unforgettable trait was his human side, which translated into openness to conversation, elegance, and politeness. He came in the summer but also at other times of the year," recalls those who challenged him on the court just meters from the beach.

It was a brief interlude for Franco Baresi, who later, with his brother Beppe, sold his shares in the Europa Camp. There's another memory of that encounter with Sardinia. On the day the deed of transfer of shares was signed in the office of a notary in Oristano, a crowd of fans, drawn by word of mouth, warmly and affectionately welcomed the AC Milan champion, beloved and respected by all.
