Radja Nainggolan will wear the Cagliari jersey again. Not for next season, nor tomorrow against AC Milan , but for the Rossoblu seven-a-side football team that will participate in The Soccer Tournament, the tournament scheduled in the United States – in Cary, North Carolina – from May 27th to June 1st. The Ninja is the sensational signing to complete the squad heading to the USA, where Cagliari will be present for the third consecutive year.

Nainggolan completes a roster that features many familiar Cagliari faces. Andrea Cossu, Marco Sau, and Luca Ceppitelli return to the rossoblù jersey, along with Nicolò Cavuoti and Alessandro Vinciguerra , who recently completed loans to Bari in Serie B and Monopoli in Serie C, respectively. Then there are Nicola Grandu and Othniël Raterink, who split their time between the first team and the Primavera, and goalkeeper Vincenzo Sarno and Hungarian full-back Márton Prettenhoffer, also from the Under-20s.

Cagliari's squad also includes goalkeeper Alessio Buono , who recently played in the Kings League; Matteo Mancosu, who never played for Cagliari as a player but has been coaching the youth team since 2023; Canadian Lucas Shaw, who was already seen at The Soccer Tournament last season; and two players who have had experience in futsal in Sardinia: Brazilian Felipe Marques de Carvalho (known to all as Filó) and Argentine Facundo Nicolás Setti . And Pully , the club's mascot, will be joining Nainggolan and his teammates.
