Music on the Bocche, the thrill of a dawn concert in Balai

The crystalline waters of the Balai Sea and an evocative landscape provided the backdrop for the dawn concert by guitarist Marcello Zappareddu, musician and composer.

This morning, the prestigious Musica sulle Bocche festival stopped in Porto Torres, on the beautiful Balai beach, where many flocked to see the artist's thrilling performance. Starting at 6:00, she took the audience on a unique musical journey, blending Mediterranean influences, classical studies, and jazz.

The event was hosted by the festival's creator, Enzo Favata. Zappareddu studied at the "L. Canepa" Conservatory in Sassari and perfected his jazz guitar technique between Siena and Rome. His musical career spans diverse genres—from classical to pop, from funk to jazz and blues—developing a unique style that finds expression in his original compositions. The event was organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Porto Torres, the Sassari Chamber of Commerce, the Fondazione di Sardegna, and the Autonomous Region of Sardinia.
