“Music of the plants”, great applause for the concert in Sennori

It was a success, in Sennori , for the bucolic concert “Musica delle Piante” proposed by the duo Giovanni Antonio and Patrizio.

Thanks to the use of a special computer, the insertion of a positive and a negative pole allows to capture the energy levels produced by the trees during chlorophyll photosynthesis , and reinterprets the frequencies translating them into musical notes. The mood of the tree is thus perceived in relation to those close to it, to those who come into contact with it.

"Depending on who touches the leaves there are changes in frequency - said Giovanni Antonio - sometimes positive, in the sense that the notes become more lively and pleasant, other times the tree perceives negativity, therefore, or produces dark sounds, very low or it can even stop playing. This can happen when contact occurs with people who have broken off some branch ”.

The aim of the project is to enhance and raise awareness of the environment , but it also wants to be an educational tool within schools for environmental education, to sensitize pupils towards a more sustainable attitude towards nature.

Among the cultural initiatives that accompanied the event there was also the inauguration of the urban trekking by Maria Paola Cordella in collaboration with the cultural association "Il lentischio" of Sennori, whose members have contributed through research on the camp and lending their voices.
