After yesterday's one on citizenship income , a new all-Sardinian controversy between the Democratic Party and the Brothers of Italy.

To turn it on once again is the parliamentary dem and president of the Labor commission of the Chamber Romina Mura , regarding the positions expressed by Giorgia Meloni on work and income support.

“Not only does FdI purposely confuse the fight against poverty with active labor policies, but today Meloni is also questioning the minimum wage , pretending not to know that poor work is a national emergency, especially for women and young people. Before giving angry lessons, the 'patriots' touch the harshness of the Italian social reality firsthand ", he declares.

Specifying that "first of all it must be clear that the citizenship income and other support measures have allowed Sardinian families to put a meal on the table during the pandemic ", Mura recalls that "while FdI wanted and wants to reintroduce vouchers I and the Democratic Party made the social clause mandatory to protect contract workers, we reconfirmed the Woman Option and the Social Ape, improved the citizenship income and introduced measures to further support poverty. The Brothers of Italy have always voted against all this ”.

The reply from Fdi deputy Salvatore Deidda is ready: "It seems to me that we have never been in government in recent years, the Democratic Party cannot give lessons on how to fight poverty , given that corporate crises and new poverties ".

"Let's go together to the Air Italy workers who are still waiting for the table to save their jobs - Deidda urges -, let's talk about the private security workers who claim a table for the new contract, the workers of Sanac, Portovesme or Polo di Porto Torres . Let's talk about labor costs, which are too high. Two legislatures in which the Democratic Party was in government and have never cut the cost of labor or simplified life for those who want to create a business. Enough lessons ".
