Now the date is official: in Sardinia the municipal elections will take place on Sunday 12 June. Two weeks later, on June 26, a possible ballot is scheduled.

This is established by a resolution approved by the regional council.

65 Municipalities are voting (200 thousand citizens interested), and two have more than 15 thousand inhabitants: Oristano and Selargius, for both the second round is possibly foreseen for the ballot.

The province with the most centers called to elect mayors and municipal councils is that of Oristano with 19, followed by Sassari with 16, South Sardinia with 14, Nuoro with 13 and the Metropolitan City of Cagliari with 3.

On the same day, June 12, the vote for the referendum on justice promoted by the League and the Radicals will also take place throughout Italy, as decided by the Council of Ministers on March 31 last.
