The appeal to the Council, to unblock the noise abatement plan adopted a year ago, comes from the benches of the City Council. It was launched by Giuseppe Farris, councilor of CiviCa 2024 who presented a question on the matter.
«Given that the Plan, approved on March 27, 2024, was sent to Arpas and the Metropolitan City for their respective assessments and that Arpas has forwarded the technical observations, the plan is still unimplemented, with serious damage to the health of citizens exposed to critical levels of noise», explains Farris.
The minority representative, in recalling that the Marina residents' committee "Rumore no grazie" already last February asked the Region to replace the Municipality for failure to comply, and that the Region, a week ago, expressed itself asking to know the status of implementation of the Plan, «we ask the mayor to know if and when the Metropolitan City has proceeded to return the Plan to the Municipality, what actions have been undertaken in order to accept the observations produced by Arpas and which are intended to be implemented, and with what timing, to reach the application of the Plan».
