Everything is ready for the new edition of Monumenti Aperti , scheduled in Selargius on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May .

“Also this year - says the councilor for Culture Roberta Relli - we adhere with enthusiasm, strongly convinced that the event encompasses and fully expresses our idea of culture”.

Mayor Gig Concu speaks of "an appointment that we believe represents an unmissable opportunity to strengthen the cultural identity of our community ".

THE PLACES - Various monuments can be visited: Sa Cruxi 'e Marmuri; the churches of Sant'Antonio Abate, Maria Vergine Assunta, San Giuliano and San Lussorio; the former distillery in Piazza Si 'e Boi and the archaeological mini-park of Su Coddu).

Also not to be missed is an itinerary that winds its way through the ancient portals of the historic center, starting with a visit to the Ligas house , kindly made available to the community by the owners. Great news of this edition the guided tours in the ancient monumental cemetery for the first time open to the public on the occasion of the event.

Doors open also to the SEMÚ Selargius museum, ready to welcome visitors back - after a few months of closure for renovations necessary for its institutionalization - with the inauguration of the permanent exhibition that will allow you to retrace a part of the history of the former Cavalleggeri barracks.
