The modern pentathlon has a new world champion, it is the Italian Elena Micheli who won the title at the Senior World Championships in Alexandria with a total of 1,416 points.
Born in 1999, she had already climbed the podium twice at this season's World Cup.
Silver went to the Hungarian Michelle Gulyas, bronze to the Turkish Ilke Ozyuksel.
The blue athlete, from the Carabinieri Sports Center, therefore wins his second world medal, after the silver in 2019.
