"Community homes will be operational throughout the country. We will find a solution and reach agreements with healthcare providers."

This was stated by Health Minister Orazio Schillaci , who today in Cagliari concluded his “Everything for Italy” days, an initiative for discussion between politics and civil society organized by the Brothers of Italy of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate.
In the aftermath of the halt to the reform regarding the participation of general practitioners in the new territorial facilities, the minister expressed optimism: "The community homes will be a point of reference for citizens" - and the representatives of the Fimmg, Silvestro Scotti, of the Fimp (pediatricians) Osama Al Jamal, and of the National Federation of Nurses Barbara Mangiacavalli, assured their full availability to find the necessary agreements.
The minister also praised the effectiveness of the National Plan for Reducing Waiting Lists: "For the first time in Italy, a reliable monitoring system exists."
