A day entirely dedicated to Sardinia and its dynamics for the minister in charge of the League with responsibility for Disabilities , Alessandra Locatelli .

"Disability requires increasingly concrete responses" is what the minister said on the sidelines of the meeting with the governor Christian Solinas and the president of the regional council Michele Pais.

After the stop at Villa Devoto , the Northern League representative of the Meloni Government will be in Selargius for a visit to Anfass and, subsequently, in Pirri, to visit Casa Futuro.

In the afternoon, the ABC Independent Living Laboratory will be inaugurated in via Giudice Mariano in Cagliari. «In these stages - said Locatelli - I will have the opportunity to meet the associative world, that is, the third sector bodies that work together with the institutions in Sardinia to give increasingly concrete answers to people with disabilities and their families».
Cohesion and dialogue between the protagonists of the various actions, for the minister, are the basis for adequate interventions: «I am convinced that we can no longer think of making policies without involving institutions, third sector bodies, the private world : the contribution of individual citizens is also needed, because, as the President of the Republic also said on the occasion of the Day for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, we are witnessing a change of perspective in which I deeply believe and this change starts precisely from the conception that we must see in each person a talent, a skill to be valorised and, to do so, we must do it together, because we are moving from a concept of welfare to a concept that each person can contribute to the cohesion of our communities, to the growth of our country .
So I'm talking about training, work inclusion, projects also for recreational and social time, that is, the right to happiness for everyone is sacrosanct and in order to guarantee it we need to promote, together with well-being and health, also a series of other services that ranging from sports to other types of activities."

All aspects which, according to the government representative, would find fertile ground in Sardinia.

«I believe that the possibility exists in Sardinia. There is also already a measure regarding the Life Project, which in the reform we are bringing at a national level places the island at an already advanced stage. So - concluded Minister Locatelli - I am very happy to be here and to learn even more".
