Focus on the world of adolescents and the theme of waiting with “Me ne vado” , a show written, directed and performed by Anna Piscopo , protagonist on stage with Marial Bajma Riva. The unpublished text-under 35 was a finalist of the InDivenire 2024 Award in Rome and winner of the international residency HUMUS 2024 Artists in the territories of Matera.

There are four shows on the Sardinian tour: tomorrow at 9 pm at the Teatro del Carmine in Tempio, Friday at the Comunale in Ittiri (starting at 8:30 pm), then Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm at the Teatro Alkestis in Cagliari under the banner of the “Discovery / New writings and languages of the contemporary scene” review organized by BAM Teatro.

The play tells the story of the discomfort and the anxieties of an age of transition from childhood to adulthood, through an invented but all too plausible story, which harks back to the pages of the news: two teenagers, to overcome boredom, commit a massacre inside the bar, the theater of their days in suspended time and in the emptiness of their existences without a future. “Me ne vado” – we read in the presentation – «is the expectation of a flood, more symbolic than realistic: a perfect metaphor for divine punishment or perhaps a means of salvation. But its “not arriving” seems to deny the development of every possible meaning of the story».
