Luca Mazzitelli is ready to become a new Cagliari player. An agreement has been reached with Como for a loan with an option to buy, with the midfielder expected to undergo a medical tomorrow. Born in 1995, he was brought by Cagliari's sporting director, Guido Angelozzi, to both Sassuolo in 2016 and Frosinone in 2022.
After Mazzitelli, Cagliari's target remains a striker. Beşiktaş's Semih Kiliçsoy hasn't slipped away yet, although the Turkish club won't release him before the Europa League return leg against Shakhtar Donetsk. The option of Sebastiano Esposito, who is leaving Inter and has been in negotiations in recent weeks, is reopening.
