«I am available to run for mayor of Cagliari, even with the primaries. But that's not the point: we would have gone alone." The pieces in the center-left are back in their place, or at least the one that refers to the Campo largo and the Pd-M5s axis. Massimo Zedda reiterates his desire to retry the race for the most important seat in Palazzo Bacaredda.

Yesterday his party, Progressives, announced that it had left the side of Renato Soru's Gentile Revolution to return to the one where the leadership is entrusted to Alessandra Todde, in the name of coalition unity. And he invited the former president of the Region to do the same.

Today the former mayor, currently regional councilor, spoke to the microphones of Radio Giornale Radio: «Is it malicious to say that there is an agreement that will lead me to be the joint candidate of the breakfast for the mayor of Cagliari?», is the rhetorical question, which provides an almost obvious answer: «No», replies Zedda, «we immediately asked that the candidacies for president of the Region and mayor of Cagliari and Sassari be decided together also to have more strength in the regional elections».
