Maria Giovanna Cherchi celebrates 30 years of career at Villanova Monteleone

For the first time the Festival delle Bellezze stops in Villanova Monteleone for a fifth and final preview before the start of the calendar of events. The eighth edition of the review conceived by maestro Vincenzo Cossu, artistic director of the Festival, offers a concert by Maria Giovanna Cherchi on Saturday at 10 pm in Piazza Remundu Piras.
The artist from Bolotana celebrates 30 years of career with a setlist that features her most famous songs in an acoustic key, accompanied on the piano by Maurizio Bizzarro.
The evening will open with the Chorale Studentesca “Città di Sassari”, conducted by Vincenzo Cossu and accompanied on the piano by Carlo Morittu, who will perform famous Sardinian melodies with some surprises for the audience.
