No specific allocation for insularity in the budget law approved yesterday in the Council of Ministers . Forgotten Sardinia, therefore: if for the centre-right Sardinian majority it is a void to be filled, for the opposition it is just a further sign of the Meloni Government's inattention towards the island.

«We expected something more – admits the Councilor for Programming Giuseppe Fasolino – which is why we will immediately meet President Solinas to take stock . We will certainly ask to open a table with the Government: a dialogue must be started to find out the times and reasons. And maybe something important will come of it."

Fausto Piga, FdI group leader , speaks of a "prudent maneuver that meets the needs of families and businesses". "Keeping accounts in order after years of very expensive measures such as super bonuses and citizenship income is difficult", claims the representative of Giorgia Meloni's party, according to whom the text "can still be improved with the interventions of Sardinian parliamentarians" .

The opposition's declarations are obviously less prudent: "For years , Sardinia has been forgotten in national financial maneuvers , only now it is happening with a majority of the same color as Sardinia, which has done nothing to bring maximum attention to the island's issues", denounces the leader of the Progressives Francesco Agus .

" Having ignored the principle of insularity, Sardinia is not taken into consideration and there is nothing about high mortgages and high bills for all citizens", attacks the M5s group leader Alessandro Solinas instead.

Then there is the healthcare chapter: very little will come from the increase in the healthcare fund decided by the Government to Sardinia, because the island pays for the healthcare system itself. A problem highlighted by the branch councilor Carlo Doria and by Fasolino himself, according to whom "it would be a problem" to be forced to cover that increase with regional resources .
