Still engaged in the tour that took them around the world and fresh from a double award at the EMAs, the European Music Awards, Måneskin find the time to publish, or rather republish - also in view of Christmas - Rush! (Are U Coming?) , the new edition of their latest album Rush! released in January, with five unreleased songs in English: Valentine, Off My Face, The Driver, Trastevere and the first single Honey (Are U Coming?) .
THE TRACKS – Valentine is a provocative rock ballad in which Damiano's voice intertwines perfectly with Thomas' guitar. The new edition also features Trastevere , the song that the band had performed live for the first time during the Circus Maximus concert in 2022 , and which can now be heard in the studio version. The title is a tribute to the name of the neighborhood where the group grew up in Rome, and it is one of the rawest and most personal songs written and published so far. Off My Face on the other hand is an overwhelming mix that synthesizes the sound world of Måneskin between a driving groove and a powerful guitar riff . The text addresses the theme of toxic love, telling how even a pure feeling can turn into an addiction. And again The Driver, a song about falling in love, a real soundtrack to a love story that photographs the moment in which you realize you are madly in love, until you let go and lose control. And then the latest single Honey (Are U Coming?), a concentration of energy , in which the riff of the electric guitars and the rhythmic part fit together with a scratchy and captivating chorus.
Accompanying the release of the album is also a new video clip for the song Valentine, the first of the official videos of the new songs that will be published on the band's YouTube channel.
Upon exit, Rush! it reached number one in 15 countries, entering the top 5 of the charts in 20 countries . The album has surpassed 1.4 billion global streams , recently breaking the 1 billion stream mark on Spotify alone and contributing to the band's 9.2 billion total streams.
From November 20th the band will be live for its first concerts in Australia and then in Japan, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
