From nuraghi to murals. Muraghes is born, the park of nuragic and masonry art, a map to discover Central Sardinia. The initiative will be officially presented tomorrow, with an event that has brought together the administrations of Marghine, the experts and the artists who took part in the project. It is a physical and digital infrastructure that aims to intertwine the enormous archaeological heritage of central Sardinia with an innovative, international and artistic offer.
Tomorrow, starting at 5 pm in the old Alas, the project will be made public with an initiative in which representatives of the Sardinia Region, the Municipalities of the Marghine Union, experts in archaeology and tourism and artists involved over the years by Muraghes will participate, including Moses Concas who took part in the production of a track and a video clip of tourist discovery of Central Sardinia, in collaboration with the APS ProPositivo, promoter of the project, and thanks to the sound mapping of the territory created by Arrogalla.
"Muraghes - it is written in a press release - gives space not only to monuments and works but also to sounds and immaterial or extemporaneous works that thanks to digital can remain online and be accessible in the different places where they occurred, to be relived or discovered". Until Sunday it will also be possible to attend the photographic exhibition on Murales and Nuraghes del Marghine created by Giuseppe Sedda , or book the tourist discovery tour with the expert Gabriele Nicelli.
"The project idea was born in 2016, thanks to the Festival della Resilienza and its international street art contest", says Gian Luca Atzori, President of APS ProPositivo. " An event that reached 30 countries around the world, attracted over 70 artists and created more than 50 murals in 7 municipalities . From here comes to life the platform to orient yourself on the territory through a geolocalized map accessible via QR code that has brought together hundreds of archaeological sites, historic buildings, naturalistic places, artistic works and hospitality activities, producing high-quality descriptive, photographic and multimedia content in collaboration with various experts".
The initiative is supported by the Region of Sardinia, the Union of Municipalities of Marghine, the Municipality of Macomer and the Fondazione di Sardegna, with the collaboration of the Coop Esedra, the Forum Giovani Macomer, the Centro Servizi Culturali Macomer and Borghi Italiani.
