You can lie comfortably enough on the wickerwork mat. And sheepskins also offer great comfort and warmth.

These spartan lifestyles can be experienced in the Archaeological park of the Neolithic necropolis of Cannas di Sotto thanks to the "History tiles" experiment .

It is an event for families , in which children and adults can participate, because thanks to the guides of the city museum system, they will be able to experience live, and in some ways almost on their own skin, the daily activities of prehistory as they were carried out in the archaeological site which is incorporated in the urban circuit of Carbonia, a sort of Tuvixeddu in Cagliari. In fact there are about ten tombs already excavated and studied, and as many (hidden for safety reasons) still to be analysed: they would date back to about 5000 years ago.

The initiative makes it possible to understand how food was prepared, spinning and weaving, without forgetting ceramics, with the tools and implements of the time . Sitting around the fireplace, the participants will be able to manipulate the clay and create small pots to take away. The visit to the Necropolis in Domus de Janas will conclude the activity. The initiative is organized by the Sardinia Cultural System Consortium, manager of the Museum System, with the patronage of the Municipality.
