With what words do journalists tell the facts, and from what perspective? The Liquida festival, entirely dedicated to journalistic literature, reaches its fifth edition with a four-day event full of guests and appointments which will be held, like in previous years, in Codrongianos, in the space adjacent to the basilica of Saccargia, from 27 to 30 July.

Once again, it will be up to the reporters to explain, from their point of view and with their own language, some of the political, economic and social issues of our times.

The event, organized by the Municipality of Codrongianos together with the Lìberos association, has numerous appointments on the calendar with notable guests, including: Agnese Pini, Gaia Tortora, Mariangela Pira, Esther Paniagua, Luca Steinmann, Marco Varvello, Ilaria Cucchi and Fabio Anselm. There will also be a preview in Cagliari with the presentation of the essay “Beauty. Instructions for use” (Baldini+Castoldi) by Luca Sommi.

The festival, which will open with a round table coordinated by Simonetta Selloni, president of Assostampa Sardegna, will welcome 16 professionals who will talk about their work and their books. Independent reporter for Italian and international newspapers, Luca Steinmann with "The Russian front" (Rizzoli) will recount his experience as a Western witness sent among Putin's soldiers.
Director of all the newspapers of the Monrif group, Agnese Pini will present the novel "An autumn in August" (Chiarelettere), in which she narrates the Nazi-fascist massacre of San Terenzo Monti, in the summer of 1944, while Gaia Tortora, deputy director of Tg La7 and daughter of Enzo, will retrace the story of her father reconstructed in "Head up, and forward" (Mondadori).

The Sardinian Mariangela Pira, presenter of Sky Tg24, will present “Effetto domino. How the global world affects our pockets” (Chiarelettere). Finally, Esther Paniagua, Spanish, recognized by "Forbes" as one of the 100 most creative women in business, will talk about the imminent collapse of the Internet announced in her book "Error 404. Are you ready for a world without the Internet?" (Einaudi).
