A superhero with the power to pose, another who only knows how to throw himself into the middle of battle, creating more problems than solutions, a superhero who talks to clams and another who has the power to spoil the endings of the films.

These are just some of the 50 superheroes born from the mind of Lillo, born Pasquale Petrolo, comedian and actor of the famous duo Lillo & Greg who has just returned from the success of "LOL - Chi ride è fuori", a TV series on Prime Video, collected in the illustrated volume " Posaman & friends "(Rizzoli, pp. 144), out today in all bookstores.

Posaman is the superhero alter ego that Lillo brought to the stage during the episodes of “LOL” and that in the volume, together with the other characters, was drawn by the Sardinian cartoonist Luca Usai, a pencil who has been working for Disney for some time.

The colors are the work of Alessandro Costa, while the pictorial cover was created by Gabriele Dell'Otto, a well-known designer at work for Marvel and DC Comics.

"I had already worked with Lillo in 2011 and in 2012 creating a comic on Normalman - says the designer of Guspini - last year the idea for this volume arrived. Which is to invent Italian superheroes with comic and light-hearted characteristics. Lillo he provided me with descriptions of the characters and what their super powers were, with some very specific specifications, and I made the drawings. "

"In the book - explains Usai - there are 50 superheroes with their genesis and descriptions of powers, in some cases there are also comic pages with their actions".

"The funny thing about this book - underlines the cartoonist - is that the categories of superheroes are like those of famous comics: there are mutants with extraordinary powers, such as the X-Men, those who come from other planets, like Superman. , and those who do not have powers but have managed to invent special gadgets like Batman ".

And here, alongside Posaman, characters such as Capitan Sutri will parade, who put his strength at the service of the Viterbo peasants; Ugo Magneto, who like the famous Marvel character attracts magnets, but instead he doesn't know how to control them; and Zizzania, who pretending to be tenants of buildings slips into condominium meetings to incite those present.

Luca Usai started working in September and finished graphically creating the characters in December. "I was very happy to work with Lillo again - he concludes - I am in tune with his comedy and have always followed him".
