After the success achieved with "If tonight we are here", a concert signed by the duo Mogol and Alessandro Preziosi, the new event of the Accademia del Pop returns to the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari, an original formula that includes a concert-show combined with a dedicated masterclass to all fans of great Italian music.

Taking the stage together with her interns, on Sunday 19 November, at 8.30 pm, will be Laura Valente, a well-known name in the national artistic scene, lead singer of Matia Bazar from 1991 to 1998, wife of Pino Mango and mother of Angelina, a young singer-songwriter who she highlighted herself in the last edition of the talent show "Amici" signed by Maria De Filippi and which is enjoying incredible success with her latest singles at the top of the charts.

Sunday 19 November is therefore the second appointment of the new initiative undertaken by Sardegna Concerti of the patron Massimo Palmas and financed by the Sardinia Foundation, with the artistic direction of the guitarist and composer Massimo Satta, one of the leading teachers of the CET and historic collaborator of Mogol: an original and new project for the island that turns the spotlight on a series of events intended to celebrate music as an artistic, social and economic expression thanks to the participation of great personalities of Italian music.

Sunday's concert will be the final moment of a three-day internship held by Laura Valente which will start tomorrow, Friday 17 November, and will end with all the students on the main stage of the Teatro Massimo.

A journey into the songwriting which will see the artist committed to transmitting to the participants all her experience accumulated over years of work: «The only important value of being on stage is to be able to excite those who listen to us, otherwise they witnesses a purely aesthetic test destined to vanish within a few minutes - explained the former leader of Matia Bazar - Over the years I have developed a personal method to stimulate young people and help them find the center of their emotion".

In the two-hour concert, at the end of the cycle of educational meetings, the public will be able to watch live the performances of the young interns, engaged, together with the singer-songwriter, in interpreting a series of the most famous songs of Italian pop music.

Accompanying the group will be the Accademia del Pop Band composed of Massimo Satta and Federico Valenti on guitars, Daniele Serpi on keyboards, Fabio Useli on bass and Alex Muntoni on drums.
