Latte Dolce has strengthened its defense by signing full-back Octavio Casalongue López , who played in Serie D at Angri last season where he scored 3 goals.
Born in Daireaux, Argentina, in 2005, but holding both Italian and Spanish passports, López grew up in the youth academies of River Plate and Racing Club. Arriving in Spain at a young age, he wore the jersey of Rayo Majadahonda. In Italy, he played for Scalea and Lecce Primavera, and made his Serie D debut in December 2024 with Vibonese, becoming a key defender for the Calabrian team, with whom he also reached the playoffs.
Octavio Casalongue had this to say: "I chose Sassari Calcio Latte Dolce because I was particularly impressed by the club's project, which focuses on developing young players and leading them to play in major championships. This could be a great opportunity for my career. The staff and all my teammates welcomed me warmly: I can't wait to play my first matches."
