The feast of Sant'Ignazio is fast approaching and in Laconi anticipation is growing for religious celebrations and civil demonstrations in honor of a figure much venerated throughout Sardinia. He is also the patron saint of the Province of Oristano, since he was proclaimed patron saint in the cathedral of Oristano on 11 May 2007, in the solemn rite celebrated by the then archbishop Ignazio Sanna .

Also announced the program of the party of 29, 30 and 31 August . "It was defined - explains the mayor Salvatore Argiolas - thanks to the contribution of the LR7 and the active collaboration with the Region and the Parish of Saints Ambrogio and Ignazio ".

There will be three days of faith, entertainment, entertainment and music, with the traditional procession and the evening dedicated to folklore. Guests, among others, Piero Marras, Maria Luisa Congiu, Valerio Scanu, Benito Urgu, Alessandro Pili, Laura Spanu, Roberto Tangianu , with the artistic direction of Giuliano Marongiu . The classic appointment of the "Cantadores a chitarra" will not be missing. Also expected is the performance of the Tende il tempo - 883 & Max Pezzali tribute band and the DJ Jonny Mele .

Meanwhile, the country is preparing to welcome the thousands of people   who will arrive for the party and everything has been arranged in the best possible way to give the right hospitality. Councilor Giovanni Marini coordinated all the work on urban decoration with the arrangement of flowers and plants that make the town enjoyable in all its aspects.
