"Labour policies and safety are the priorities of this executive", claimed the ministerVideo di Caterina De Roberto
The Meloni government's commitment to labor and safety policies is the focus of the conference organized by Brothers of Italy this morning in Olbia with Labor Minister Marina Calderone.
"In 2022, we had a 7.8 percent unemployment rate; today we're at 5.1 percent," the minister claimed, also citing improved youth and female employment figures. On the eve of March 8, the minister emphasized the need to further boost women's employment.
A round of applause accompanied the greeting to Silvia Melis, who, speaking as a labor consultant, discussed the situation in Sardinia.
"If there's one example of the tenacity and strength of Sardinian women, it's Silvia Melis," said the minister, referring to the dramatic experience of the kidnapping. Calderone also outlined recent workplace safety regulations.
The meeting, moderated by Marco Piro, also included Senator Giovanni Satta, MP Francesco Mura, and Regional Councilor Cristina Usai. Mayor Settimo Nizzi conveyed greetings from the area with a specific request: "This is a dynamic area where we are trying to facilitate entrepreneurs, but we must streamline bureaucracy."
