This is the objective of the "Amici di Lia Origoni" association, recently established, with president Andrea Tirotto, which includes the artist's biographer, Giancarlo Tusceri, the publisher Paolo Sorba, her personal doctor and others people who were close to her in the last years of her life.
Lia Origoni, who was, in the 30s, 40s and 50s of the twentieth century, a brilliant opera singer, revue and theater actress, radio voice and television presence, performed on the stages of the greatest Italian theatres. , European and beyond, from Rome to Paris, from Milan to Berlin to Naples up to the one in Cairo, Egypt.

Speakers at the conference were, in addition to President Tirotti, Monica Grossi, archival superintendent of Sardinia, which she had already announced some time ago as the Origoni archive (consisting of tape recordings, vinyl records, photos, films, documents, medals and cups), of particularly important historical interest.
And again, Giancarlo Tusceri, writer and biographer of the artist, who reported several anecdotes of Origoni's artistic career, learned from her voice; Saverio Verrascina, vice president of the association, trusted collaborator of Origoni in the activity, which she undertook already late in life, of digitizing and networking her vast artistic production.
The commitment made yesterday was also that of wanting to fulfill one of the artist's greatest wishes: that his house - left to the Municipality of La Maddalena - could become a museum.
Born in 1919, Lia Origoni left the limelight and fame in 1967, at the age of 48, retiring to private life; he was at the height of his success. died in La Maddalena, aged 103, in October 2022.
