For a few days now, a mural dedicated to the goalkeeper of the national team and European champion, Salvatore Sirigu, has stood out on the electrical substation in via Livorno in La Caletta. It is a work by GioFoe (Giorgio Forlano) Sardinian street artman: the initiative was launched by E-Distribuzione, the Enel Group company that manages the medium and low voltage electricity grid.

The realization of the work stems from the meeting of two complementary wills, on the one hand E-Distribuzione with its Street Art project, which it is carrying out to enhance the beauty and local artists, creating a real open-air museum , with a view to environmental sustainability, on the other the Polisportiva della Caletta, which wanted to pay homage to its fellow villager and great goalkeeper, Salvatore Sirigu, silent but decisive protagonist, according to all, comrades, coach, managers and journalists, of the victory at the 2020 European Championship by the Italian national team.

Sirigu was an example of teamwork, of dragging and supporting his teammates, continuously encouraging them, always having a positive approach, especially towards his younger teammates.
