Khaby Lame becomes an Italian citizen at 22: "I already felt that way, I've always lived here"

Khaby Lame, the most famous tiktoker in the world followed by over 148 million users , is an Italian citizen.
The oath was taken today before the Civil Status Officer of the municipality of Chivasso (Turin), the city where the 22-year-old from Dakar arrived when he was one year old: "I swear to be faithful to the Republic and to observe the Constitution and the laws of the state, ”he said.
The influencer was served a copy of the decree of the President of the Republic which granted him Italian citizenship on 8 June last; the young man was also honored with a copy of the Constitution and the pin of the City of Chivasso.
“ I felt Italian even before today, like everyone else, having always lived here ”, said the boy visibly moved.
