«Juventus announces that it has relieved Massimiliano Allegri of his role as coach of the men's first team». This is what we read in a note from the Juventus club.

"The dismissal - continues the club - follows certain behaviors during and after the Italian Cup final which the club deemed incompatible with the values of Juventus and with the behavior that those who represent it must adopt."

«A period of collaboration comes to an end, which began in 2014, started again in 2021 and ended after the last three seasons together with the Italian Cup Final. The club wishes Massimiliano Allegri good luck in his future projects", concludes the Juventus club in the press release.

As for "incompatible behaviour", the club would refer to the fury of the Tuscan coach after a free kick awarded to Atalanta at the end of the Italian Cup match, complete with a red card from referee Maresca, which was followed by a further explosion of anger of the coach, who tore off his jacket and continued to protest dramatically.

The outburst against referee Maresca cost Allegri a two-match ban and a fine, but there are other episodes that have irritated Juventus' top brass. First of all, the coach's gesture towards Cristiano Giuntoli: that "Go away!" addressed to the sporting director during the celebrations on the pitch, who was caught by the cameras and which went around social media, reaching practically every part of the world.
