The outgoing chairman Andrea Agnelli also spoke during the meeting

«It wasn't an easy decision - Agnelli explained about his step back - I've always worked hard in these years, which have been extraordinary. However, I made the decision fully convinced and in complete serenity. Personally I think we did well and the findings are not justified, also supported by the in-depth analysis made by independent experts».

«I decided to take a step back, - he added - so that one could not think that the

choices could be even only partially conditioned by my personal involvement».
