Splendid – and historic – feat by Jasmine Paolini, who wins the 2025 Internazionali d’Italia.
In the final on the clay court of the Foro Italico, in front of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella , guest of honour in the stands, the Tuscan tennis player beat the American Coco Gauff in two sets: 6-4, 6-2 was the score that gave the triumph to the Italian.
The last time an Italian woman won the Internazionali d'Italia was 40 years ago, in 1985, with Raffaella Reggi.
