Writer Stefano Benni has died
Author of “Bar Sport”, he was 78 years old

Writer and playwright Stefano Benni died at the age of 78 following a long illness. He was born in Bologna on August 12 , 1947.
Among his most beloved books are Bar Sport, Elianto, Terra!, The Company of the Celestini, Baol, Comici paurati guerrieri, Saltatempo, Margherita Dolcevita, Spiriti, Il bar sotto il mare and Pane e tempesta.
