Women reduced to slavery, twenty arrests in Puglia

The Bari Police is carrying out a precautionary custody order in prison and under house arrest against 20 people.

The accusations against them are criminal association aimed at enslavement, exploitation of prostitution and other crimes against the person.

The victims are young women from Romania, according to a pattern known as "Lover Boy".

The investigation was coordinated by the Dda of Bari. The arrests are carried out in Bari and in other cities of Puglia.
