Tragedy on highway construction site: worker falls from scaffolding and dies

Tragedy at work on a construction site on the A6 motorway, between Altare and the Savona junction.
A worker, for reasons yet to be clarified, fell into the void while he was on scaffolding and lost his life after falling 20 meters.
The accident occurred on the viaduct before a tunnel at 9.30 in the morning, the highway was closed and traffic paralyzed for about an hour.
An ambulance from the Croce Bianca di Altare, the air ambulance and the fire brigade intervened on the scene. Attempts to save the worker's life were in vain and he died instantly.
