Tragedy in Piedmont, Sardinian worker overwhelmed and killed by a car
The driver of the car, negative to the alcohol test, is under investigation for vehicular homicide

The driver of the car who yesterday afternoon in Piedimulera, Verbano, ran over and killed a 60-year-old of Sardinian origin, Antonio Pirisi, is under investigation for road homicide .
The man was laying cables when he was hit by a Golf driven by a 54-year-old man who lost control of the vehicle, slammed into a low wall on the side of the road and fell on the worker crushing him against the van he used for work .
The ambulance intervened immediately but for the Sardinian there was nothing to do.
Pirisi lived in Baveno.
Investigations are underway, the 54-year-old tested negative for the alcohol test.
