This morning the search resumed, also with the use of helicopters, for the three boys who were overwhelmed yesterday by the flood of the Natisone river in Premariacco (Udine) and are still missing.

The rescuers have intercepted the signal of one of the young people's cell phones in recent hours and are concentrating in a specific area.

Even during the night the firefighters maintained a garrison in the base camp, continuing checks in the area immediately behind the Roman bridge.

Thanks to the improvement in weather conditions, the regional civil protection drones went into action. But almost 20 hours after the disappearance of the two girls aged 21 and 23 and a friend aged 25, the chances of finding them alive are almost zero, both due to the speed of the water and hypothermia.

According to experts, the river could "return" the bodies of the boys because the Natisone has what has been defined as an extreme torrential character: sudden floods, like yesterday's, are followed by an equally sudden "deflation", with flows of water which suddenly become scarce.
