Third day of hacker attacks on Italy: banks' websites down

For the third consecutive morning, a wave of attacks by pro-Russian hackers Noname057(16) on Italy . This time, the targets were financial institutions and arms industries as well as public transport companies .

Among those affected are Mediobanca, Nexi, Benelli, Fiocchi, Danieli. Some of the sites targeted by Ddos (Distributed denial of service) attacks are unreachable.

The National Cybersecurity Agency stepped in to notify targets and provide support for restoring functionality.
