The roof of the shed collapses, a worker dies

The umpteenth victim of an accident at work in Casal di Principe, in the province of Caserta, is a 49-year-old.

The worker was on the roof of an industrial warehouse to carry out an inspection when the roof gave way and the man fell to the ground from a height of five meters.

Rescue was immediate, an ambulance from 118 arrived on the spot and transferred him to the hospital in Aversa, then to Caserta. But the doctors failed to save his life.

The Naples North Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation into the death.
