A hundred policemen are currently engaged in a vast operation involving the mobile teams of Milan, Trento, Pavia, Bergamo, and the crews of the Lombardy Crime Prevention Department.
In the crosshairs, about twenty Salvadorans, residing in Italy, arrested or placed under house arrest at the end of an investigation in which the suspects are contested, among other charges, the criminal association for joining a gang called "Barrio 18 ".
