A party with music and dancing on the islet of Isola delle Femmine, a nature reserve . The party, organized by two twin doctor brothers who celebrate their birthdays with always well-attended events , was interrupted by a raid by the Financial Police. And the DJ is a former Coast Guard agent .

Around 80 people are now under investigation . They moved from a club on the coast to the islet, for music and dancing that cannot be allowed, explain the Italian Bird Protection League (Lipu) which manages those places.

The soldiers arrived with patrol boats, followed by the crews of a dozen patrols including carabinieri, financiers and police. With boats the guests, professionals and entrepreneurs, reached the 15 hectares of rock where a partially destroyed tower stands out.

It seems that a communication was made about the event, but the management of the reserve claims to have had no warning: «From 1998 to yesterday , no one had thought of storming the islet . Also because in this period there are species that nest on the island and from March 1st to June 30th visits are suspended as is written on the island where the regulations are posted in several places", says Vincenzo Di Dio, director of the reserve managed by Lipu. «I made an inspection of the island. The reserve is usable, but through routes and paths. Many arrive on the islet and leave this reserve area better than they found it, certainly not in this way."

Reserve since 1997, the island «is a strategic point during migrations: in fact, species such as the cormorant, the gray heron, the kingfisher and the egret or numerous small passerines, some of which are also nesting, such as the redstart, the black-headed wagtail and the wagtail , as well as birds of prey from the surrounding areas such as the buzzard and the peregrine falcon", explains Lipu. «In addition to the different species of birds, there are also the field lizard, the rat snake, the wild rabbit, numerous colorful butterflies such as the icaro and the zygena together with various beetles».

The DJ of the party is a former Coast Guard petty officer, Maurizio Giglio aka Mauriziotto . He made the guests dance in the off-limits reserve.

«It wasn't a party - he justifies himself - but a video clip to be made on the islet of Isola delle Femmine commissioned by the twin brothers, both doctors, Vito and Antonio Triolo. They had authorization from the owner of the islet the Marchesa Paola Pilo Bacci to make the video to enhance the beauty of the island. I didn't organize anything, I just agreed to DJ for the video.
