Luisa Scapin, the 62-year-old worker, was seriously injured following an accident at work last Monday in a roller shutter factory - Filtessil - in San Giorgio in Bosco, in the Padua area.

According to an initial reconstruction, the woman was stuck with her gown in a cable-winding machine, which suffocated her.

A colleague had immediately rescued her and tried to revive her by giving her a heart massage. Then the intervention of the ambulance and the emergency transport to the hospital in Padua. Here, the doctors' attempts to save the 62-year-old's life were unfortunately in vain and the woman died after almost four days of agony.

Meanwhile, investigations continue on what happened. From what is learned, the owner of the company is under investigation for manslaughter.
