Horror in Pollena Trocchia, in the Naples area, where the lifeless bodies of two women were found this morning, shortly before 1am, on a construction site in Viale Italia .
The bodies were found on the basement floor of the six-story building under construction; the women apparently fell from two different elevator floors. They are a 29-year-old woman from Caserta and a 49-year-old woman of Ukrainian origin, killed on different days. The alarm was raised, bringing the Carabinieri to the scene, by a couple who had been secluded in the area and saw a man enter the construction site with a friend and then emerge alone, carrying a purse .
The hypothesis that it was a double homicide was confirmed this morning, when the Carabinieri arrested a 48-year-old resident of Sant'Anastasia. And the man, after a lengthy interrogation, broke down and admitted his guilt .
According to his story, which is being examined by investigators, he killed them on two different days. The victims are two prostitutes. After having sex, he allegedly pushed them into the void to avoid paying them .
The latest murder appears to have occurred yesterday evening, Sunday, May 17, when the couple called 112, summoning the Carabinieri. The first, according to the reconstruction by the Nola Prosecutor's Office handling the case, occurred the previous evening.
