Sondrio: bites a man for one look too many and cuts off part of his ear

The gaze of a stranger directed at his wife unleashed the wrath of a man who pounced on the passerby and bit off a piece of his ear.

The story comes from Sondrio where the police arrested a 31-year-old. The discussion with the attacked man would have arisen because, according to the first, his wife felt discomfort and annoyance after the insistent looks of a man. At that point the husband approached him and, after grabbing his head in his hands, detached the upper piece of his right auricle.

In addition to the police, an ambulance arrived at the scene and took the injured man to the hospital where he was given a 40-day prognosis for "amputation of the upper third of the right auricle with permanent injury".

Due to the extreme seriousness of the fact, the futile reasons and the significant precedents (for abuse in the family and violence and threat to a public official), the aggressor, originally from Nigeria, was arrested for malicious bodily harm. In addition, a warning measure was issued against the foreigner by the questore of the province of Sondrio.
