Scorching heat goodbye, Cyclone Circe arrives: temperatures down by 10 degrees

Cloudy skies, wind and drastic drop in temperatures , even by ten degrees : this is what awaits the Italians for the first weekend of August .

Cyclone Circe arrives on the country bringing with it, especially in the north, cloudbursts and hail.

Today, intense phenomena of a scattered nature are expected throughout the Centre-North. From the evening, with the cyclone moving towards the South-East, severe thunderstorms are expected over the whole Adriatic area and in the South, with a gradual attenuation in the North-West.

In Sardinia, cloudy skies are expected, a few drops of rain but above all wind with attention to the rough sea for which waves up to 4 meters high are expected along the western coasts. Maximum temperatures will drop to around 27-29°C .

At risk of hail and storms today Lombardy, Eastern Piedmont, Veneto and Friuli especially in the afternoon, while in the Center the probability of intense phenomena will mainly concern Southern Tuscany, Upper Lazio, Umbria and Marche and Abruzzo; from the evening then attention also on Campania, Calabria and Sicily.
