The Chamber of Deputies rejected the motion of no confidence presented by the opposition to Minister Daniela Santanché. There were 206 votes against, 134 yes votes and 1 abstention .

"I believe that the media pillory and the newspaper headlines devastate the lives of people with scars that never heal even before the trial. The media life sentence is a lifelong sentence , with no end in sight," the Minister of Tourism said in the Chamber of Deputies during the debate on the motion presented by the opposition for the indictment for false accounting on Visibilia .

"I am certain," the minister said, addressing the opposition, "that your attacks and your persecution will not end here . I will always be under attack, I am the absolute evil for you. There will be another preliminary hearing soon and so far we have only heard the accusation. On that occasion I will reflect, in order to also evaluate my resignation. But I will do it alone, I will not have any type of pressure, coercion or feared blackmail. I will be guided," Santanchè said, "only by respect for my prime minister, the government, the majority but above all by love for my party where I certainly will never want to become a problem but continue to be a resource."

As for the investigation that touched her, Santanchè spoke of "facts, all to be verified, that precede my swearing in as minister."
