Rome prosecutors have requested the indictment of entrepreneur Maria Rosaria Boccia, who is under investigation following a complaint filed by former Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano.
The magistrates charged her with aggravated stalking, assault, unlawful interference with private life, defamation, and false statements in her CV in relation to the organization of certain events.
"We will join the civil action," Gennaro Sangiuliano's lawyers, Silverio Sica and Giuseppe Pepe, stated. "This is the first judicial moment that confirms Gennaro Sangiuliano's truth. We are confident that the ongoing proceedings will confirm all the accusations put forward by the Prosecutor's Office ."
